About feed for fit hormone TX

Dr. Swat (Siwi Saraswati) came to the US as an immigrant from Indonesia by herself with the goal of changing her life. She started taking care of older people as a caregiver and certified nursing assistant. She was driven to continue her career as a nurse, so she enrolled in the Registered Nursing Program at a Los Angeles Community College. She did this while working full time as a nursing assistant and supporting and raising her two children. Her passion for caregiving and nursing led to a strong desire to continue and grow her career in medicine.

This lead her to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from California State University ~ Fullerton, a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education from Grand Canyon University, and ultimately earning her Doctorate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Creighton University. All while working full time as a bedside nurse in critical care; mostly in the open heart surgery ICU for 16 years.

Her life stress as an immigrant, working full time night shifts as a bedside nurse, being a single mother, and a student fulfilling her  education goals, put her hormones under the tank without her realizing it. When Dr. Swat  went to her primary care physician because she had begun experiencing brain fog, fatigue, hair loss, and  muscle aches; her physician did not think that she had a serious problem. Even when her heart rate went up to 200 BPM  sending her to the ER, she was only treated with beta blocker medications and nothing else. No other tests were done. Dr. Swat then took a Functional Medicine Course, deciding that she needed to treat herself to find “the root cause” of her medical problems.

Dr. Swat gained knowledge by connecting to and researching experts in integrative medicines, reading many books, listening to podcasts, connecting the dots with her symptoms; and she started on Bioidentical Hormone Treatment herself. She is now finally feeling much better, is more productive and energetic, she even trained for and competed in bodybuilding. Since then Dr. Swat really wants to share her knowledge and expertise with her patients and  dedicate her time to those who suffer from hormone imbalance and yet have never been treated, or even discussed those options with their physician. Dr. Swat is a practitioner who walks the walk, talks the talk and teaches what she preaches.

our mission

Dr. Swat’s purpose is to use her knowledge and skills to heal, provide comfort, and promote wellness. Because of that reason, Dr. Swat did not take any insurance because the insurance companies place a strain relationship with the patients due to eligibility of the test, co-pays, deductibles, and restricted time slot to cover seeing the patients. Without the insurance companies interference with your treatment, Dr. Swat has more committed time and relationship with her patients.

Mission:
Provide compassionate, caring relationships and holistic care with you, the patient, without time constriction to achieve your wellness goals.

Vision:
To find “the root of the cause” of the problems, not to “bandage” the symptoms.

What is Direct Primary Care (DPC) Model

DPC is NOT medical insurance. It is a membership model that provides patients unlimited access to their physician.

A monthly membership fee will be automatically deducted from the account of your choice. In return, patients have access to Dr. Swat and the services she provides. There are NO extra fees regardless of how many services Dr. Swat provided. In addition, Dr. Swat is also practicing Functional Medicine and will strive to find the root of cause first before utilizing pharmaceutical approach, but yet if pharmaceutical approach is deemed necessary then Dr. Swat will be able to prescribe medications as well.

Do you need additional insurance? Additional insurance is recommended to cover labs, imaging, specialist consultation, surgeries or hospitalization.

However, Dr. Swat will also be able to secure WHOLESALE costs for labs, imaging, and medications without insurance if desired.
